I have over thirty years of experience in consulting, supporting, mentoring and providing therapy to individuals, couples, families and children-from infant/parent relationships to adolescent and adult support.
My theoretical approach is integrative, positive and based on individual needs.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree, The Colorado Women's College (University of Denver), dual major in Education and Psychology
M.Ed., completed with honors, from The Erikson Institute, Loyola University, Chicago, Illinois. Emphasis on Early Childhood Development, Infant Mental Health, Child Life, Family Life, Mentoring, Family Systems Relationship-based Attachment and Developmental Milestone Loss and/or Delay.
Clinical internship: Lincoln Park Children's Hospital, Child Life Department, working with children and advocating for families whose children were hospitalized
M.A., completed with honors from St.Mary's College of California.

My counseling and mental health experiences include the following: Private Practice and Consultation, Attachment Based Consultation to State Day Care & Head Start Programs (parent community and staff), 107th Street Elementary School, Lincoln Park Children's Hospital (Child Life), The Evanston Mental Health Association (psycho-education to schools & parents), the Virginia Frank Child Development Center (facilitating attachment parent/child groups), The San Leandro Pregnant Teen/Teen Parent Program (supporting supervising & advocacy to teen parents), The Early Childhood Mental Health Program (consultation & support to preschools, special needs, parents & staff), The San Ramon Valley Unified School District's Parent/Child Early Intervention Program (supporting parent's, direct services & in-home parent child therapy & education IFSP).
